Apr 11, 2022 · What did Jesus say about heaven? Jesus spoke often of heaven, both in terms of its physical splendor and its spiritual significance. In the Book of Revelation, he describes heaven as a place of great beauty, with streets made of gold and walls adorned with precious jewels.
In the Christian New Testament, Jesus made the emphatic statement that no one (οὐδεὶς) had ever ascended into heaven with the exception of the one who had descended from heaven: that is, Jesus himself, who was to be "lifted up" like the bronze serpent of old.
