Aug 17, 2014 · The short answer is that there is nothing explicit in the text of Scripture that proves without question that Paul reached Spain, but there is some evidence (both in and out of Scripture) which suggests that he did (at least to some scholars.)
Whether Paul fulfilled his dream of evangelizing the East AND the West as far as Spain is tradition with positive evidence from the quotes of many authors through the centuries. This writer says, yes, Paul did go to Spain for several years after his first Roman imprisonment in c. 60-62.

The Bible makes it very clear, St. Paul both wanted to visit Spain, and intended to do so. However, the Bible, specifically the Book of Acts, concludes without telling us if Paul fulfilled this desire. In the book of Romans, we see the only biblical mention of Paul traveling to Spain.
