May 4, 2021 · The Level 1 national average broadband price increased from $35.98 in 2019 to $44.37 in 2020, an increase of 23%. Average 2020 Level 1 prices varied from roughly $42 in Winnipeg and Vancouver to $54.86 in Halifax. Level 1 prices generally increased from 2008 to 2014 but have been falling gradually until this year's reversal.
