Every school board is now required to: have a code of conduct for trustees; make it available to the public; review it by May 15, 2023 and by May 15 every fourth year thereafter
School boards should assist principals in developing or reviewing their local codes of conduct by creating clear guidelines for the development of such codes, in keeping with provincial policy. These local codes of conduct should also be communicated to all members of the school community.
