- Inappropriate navigation links. Navigation links can pose accessibility issues because screen readers cannot detect them if poorly coded.
- Data tables not adequately marked up for screen readers. WCAG 2.0 does not make any distinctions between simple and complex data tables.
- Insufficient color contrast. According to WCAG 2.1, the background and text colors should have a contrast ratio of 4:5:1 in the case of small text and 3:1 for large text.
- Inaccurate or absence of text alternatives for images. Screen reader users generally depend on their screen readers to understand visual content.

- Poor Readability. Here are some of the best ways to make your text legible: Ensure adequate contrast. One of the most common access blockers on the web is the poor contrast between text and background.
- Distracting Images and Graphics. The most basic level of WCAG requires “For any moving, blinking or scrolling information that (1) starts automatically, (2) lasts more than five seconds, and (3) is presented in parallel with other content, there is a mechanism for the user to pause, stop, or hide it unless the movement, blinking, or scrolling is part of an activity where it is essential”.
