You have more options. Go to film festivals, meet filmmakers there, and befriend them. Show them that you're eager to learn how they do what they do, and you'd be happy to help them on set however you can. Eventually you'll form a fledgling network that you can work to expand using the other avenues above.

HOWEVER, filmmaking is not the only thing you can/have to do with a film degree. Especially if you went to a decent college. I’m worried just as everyone else about my career after i graduate. But I know that I might have the advantage since i don’t live and breathe film nor do i feel the need to let the world “hear my voice” through film.
