    A degree plan provides a broad overview of an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Science (AAS) degree, whereas a guided pathway is more specific— it focuses on the specific classes needed to complete a degree or certificate.

    A guided pathway helps you stay on track with your degree plan (graduate on time to save time and money!). It will also help you set academic goals based on your career interest and develop a plan to reach your goals. Finally, a guided pathway will create a smooth transition to a university or into the workforce.

    Meet with a career coach: Career coaches assist you in developing a personal career pathway so you have a smooth transition into a university, training or employment.
