Dominika Egorova (played by Jennifer Lawrence), a former ballerina turned Russian intelligence officer, is trained as a “Sparrow,” a highly skilled operative who uses seduction as a weapon. Throughout the movie, Dominika is torn between her loyalty to her country and her personal agenda.
The final twist: In the climax of Red Sparrow, it is revealed that Dominika has been secretly working as a double agent for the CIA. Throughout the movie, she successfully deceives her Russian superiors, including her uncle, General Vladimir Korchnoi, played by Jeremy Irons.
In "Red Sparrow (2018)", right off the bat Jennifer Lawrence's character kills two people in cold blood. Actually, NO, she doesn't.
