   Mar 2, 2021 · A Genesis gamepad works just fine with this system (and a real Atari 2600), but 8BitDo's Bluetooth receiver for the Genesis port doesn't power up in the Flashback. No LED light comes on. I assume this is because the VCC is in a different pin than it's expecting, but then why does the Genesis controller work?

   Sep 6, 2008 · the Sega Genesis (named Sega Mega Drive here in Europe) 3-button and 6-button controllers both work fine on the A8. I am using a six-button controller on my A8 for several years now, without any problems. Since the A8 only supports one fire-button, one has to press the B-button on the Sega Genesis controller (all other buttons don`t do anything).
