  1. Jan 4, 2022 · The first two ways that God reveals Himself to us are general and limited. But the second two avenues of revelation are personal, full, and complete. Creation Reveals God. Paul said in Romans 1:19–20 that, ever since the creation of the world, God has made the knowledge of Himself evident to all people: “They know the truth about God ...

In Ephesians 2:10 NKJV, the Bible says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” The above verse implies that the primary constituent of every purposeful life is “good works.” And since we can only be created in Christ to do them, then it’s become a necessity to...

Another way God uses to reveal divine purpose is through divine encounters. A divine encounter is simply a supernatural spiritual experience with God in a unique way that changes your life forever. These usually happen to those who seek the Lord with all their heart to know why they were born and find their specific calling. Jeremiah and Moses are ...

Revelations in God’s Word are so powerful. They are crucial ways God uses to transform lives. They make you see beyond just looking. When it comes to God revealing divine purpose through it, He sometimes does it through our hearts. Let’s look at how the experience of Nehemiah confirms this. In the days of Nehemiah’s existence, the people of Israel ...

An unpleasant past life experience can also be a hint to your purpose. I call it hindsight. God used this to reveal Moses’ purpose unto him, aside from the encounter he had in Mount Horeb. When Moses was forty and the next heir to the throne, somehow, God gave him a passion to deliver the Israelites from Egyptian oppression. He knew he was born to ...

The last thing I’m going to share here on how God reveals divine purpose is the manifestation of gifts. There are some people naturally born with unusual gifts that make them unique. Some have to do with brilliant public communication, some about music, and also some about specific business ventures. Well, they are numerous. But do you know God has...

  2. May 23, 2017 · The way the apostle Paul puts it is that you must have “the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know” (Ephesians 1:18). This too is strange — the heart has eyes! But perhaps not beyond comprehension. Most people are at home speaking of “the heart” as something more than the blood-pumping organ in our chest.

    • Read the Word. Read the Word to know the heart of God toward you. Start by reading Ephesians 1 and list everything He says you are and have in Christ. You can also read a psalm, such as Psalm 103, and meditate on His promises.
    • Repent. Many things fight for your attention. God knows what they are and invites you to turn to Him to experience true peace. The heart of God wants you to experience peace no matter your circumstances, even when your circumstances beg you to be anxious.
    • Worship and praise. You are created in God’s image and made to worship Him. Worship isn’t limited to singing in Sunday’s church service. It includes living for Him in all you do.
    • Ask Him, then listen and watch. God desires to reveal His heart to you. Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7).
  3. Jul 17, 2024 · 1. Through the Teachings of Jesus. Part of Jesus’ ministry on Earth was to represent God to the world. As He explained it to His disciple, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). And as we read through the Gospels, it becomes clear that God reveals Himself through what His Son did and taught.

  6. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (KJV). God will reveal His purpose for us through the burdens He places on our heart. In response, we fulfill our purpose by yearning to improve the status quo, working to improve the situation, trusting God to bless our work, and implementing steps to achieve our dream.
