Bowser Jr., sometimes simply known as " Jr. " [1] or " Junior," [2] is the one of the two secondary antagonists in the Super Mario franchise alongside Kamek. As his name indicates, he is the son of Bowser and serves as the prince of the Koopas, heir to the throne to be the future king.
Bowser Jr. made his debut in Super Mario Sunshine, and has since helped his father to kidnap Princess Peach and battle Mario and Luigi in many subsequent games. Bowser Jr. has also taken on playable roles in spin-off titles such as Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Strikers Charged.
Bowser Jr., known in Japan as Koopa Jr. (not to be confused with Koopa Kid or Baby Bowser), is the secondary antagonist of the Mario franchise and both the son and heir of Bowser.
