We stayed 3 nights at the Monmouth Historic Inn. Unfortunately, the gardens were not in bloom in January, but we could see the beginnings of the gorgeous blooms that would come later. We booked a Pond Cottage room, and it was quite cozy and convenient. We enjoyed the complimentary hors d' oeuvres while chatting with other guests and owner Nancy.
