With such a wide potential audience in this generation, it is very important that there is a way to help the newer plays bypass this wall. Players have banded together to create the Adopt-A-Hunter program to help with this very problem.
Adopt-A-Hunter acts as a one-on-one tutoring program that pairs Monster Hunter novices (any player who needs help understanding the basic or more subtle mechanics of the game) with series veterans (any player who feels they're knowledgable enough with the mechanics to help teach others).

The grizzled, old-school players more or less hold the hand of the newbies through the steep learning curve of Monster Hunter World. The benefit of Adopt-A-Hunter is two-fold, at the very least.
