Government employers are required to track employee’s completion of the required fraud-reporting training and maintain records of such to be examined by the AOS in the course of our audit work.

This training is being automatically assigned to each existing employee and all new employees through their BuckeyeLearn transcript.
All current Ohio State employees (including term, temporary, intermittent, graduate associates and student employees) must complete the Reporting Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training in BuckeyeLearn by Oct. 29, 2024.
Required Trainings. In addition, ORC § 117.103 has been updated with new law requiring all public employees to register for training in the identification and prevention of fraud. This is an 8-minute, on-demand training that employees can watch for free.
