So Im just confused here. I have Windows 10, updated to latest version and installed the Prime Video App from the Microsoft Store. I contacted Amazon Support and they told me the Prime Video App for Windows -does- support 4k playback, but, when I launch any UHD video, at the bottom left corner of the screen, it says its just running in 1080p.

Apr 11, 2024 · Hello, I have a 1440p monitor with a Windows desktop PC, but on both the browser version of Prime Video and the Microsoft Store app of Prime Video my streaming is limited to only 1080p. Now I considered that maybe it does not support 1440p but only 4k as the next step, so I used AMD super-resolution on my graphics card to set my monitor to 4k.
