Apr 18, 2017 · Once stirred, and properly thinned with some water, I find them to be excellent for brush or air, and they adhere almost as well as an enamel paint once cured. Revell kits give mixing formulas for them if you want to try for correct colours, or you can be lazy and just go with 'near enough'.

Apr 15, 2006 · The instructions on the Revell website state that the paint is fully cured after 2-3 hours. The whole of the acrylic range can be mixed together to produce any colour you need, which is a good thing as the range is, at the moment, limited to just 36 colours.

Jan 20, 2024 · General. Model Building Questions and Answers. Has anyone used these new cubes of acrylic paint? My thought is that the plastic container may not last long or I might twist the top to oblivion so I transferred it to a glass bottle after cleaning it.
The Aqua Color colours from Revell are characterised by their ease of application. They can be applied with both the brush and the airbrush and offer an even and smooth surface without brush strokes. The paints are low odor and easy to clean, which makes the work process more pleasant and safer.
Spray paints have always been indispensable in Revell model making. They dry extremely quickly and are characterised by their high opacity. In addition, they “shine” through a remarkable scratch resistance. This property makes the acrylic spray paints indispensable for plastic model making as well as for numerous other areas.
I'm having the same issue airbrushing Revell acrylic paint over a Revell lvl 4 model (firetruck), even with topcoat it peels off under stress. Parts that I've washed are better, haven't primed this model. The plastic has a very shiny finish.
