Roblox is an online game creation and social platform created by Roblox Corporation that allows users to program and publish games, referred to as experiences on the platform, and join experiences created by other users. It is the primary product of Roblox Corporation. It was founded by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in December 2003 under Goblocks and later Dynablocks. On January 30, 2004, Dynablocks was renamed to Roblox. Roblox was released in 2006; the platform hosts user-created experiences of multiple genres, coded in the programming language Lua.
