    You must pass the courthouse security screening to enter the entrance pavilion where visitation is located.
    You must pass a National Crime Information Center and Criminal History Check to be approved to visit. This must be done before your visit is scheduled.
    Background checks are valid for one (1) year.
    If you have been incarcerated within the past sixty (60) days, you will be denied visitation privileges until the sixy (60) day deadline has been met.
    If you are a felon and denied visits, you may write to the Jail Administrator for approval to visit.
    The inmate must list you as a visitor and can be allowed up to two (2), one (1) hour visits per week, each consisting of up to three (3) people (including children).
    You must schedule your visit appointment at least 24 hours in advance, but no more than seven (7) days in advance.
    Schedule your visit by phone call 563-326-8750, press 1 for visitation, or stop down to visitation.
    If calling during non-visitation times please leave a message.  The visitation officer will return your call during visitation times.
    Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled visit time and register with the Visitation Officer.
    During your visit, you will be checked for current wants/warrants and if found, be taken into custody.
    The Jail uses video visitation (that may be recorded) to minimize the potential introduction of contraband during the visiting process and to reduce inmate movement.
