This is the final iteration in a series of flags that I have produced and refined over time for the great city of Sheffield, in South Yorkshire, England. You can see the previous iterations here . I wanted to include a flag that combines the several facets that make people of Sheffield proud and their city known, most notably its industrial history and its nature.
since i noticed that sheffield doesnt have a flag, i decided to make one! the five stripes represent the five major rivers of sheffield. the blue represents the rivers in general. the green represents the fact that sheffield is a city of greenness and nature. the white is derived from grey, representing sheffields industrial history.
