Any modifications to the share settings using the Twonky service UI are not supported by WD. Please be aware that WD NAS UI settings takes precedence over the Twonky UI settings.

  6. Aug 20, 2018 · WD does not provide support for the Twonky DLNA Server's Web Interface, Configuration and or Settings. A firmware update will set any changes in the Twonky UI back to their My Cloud defaults. The My Cloud Twonky DLNA Media Server's "Rescan Interval" value is set to -1 (default) and enables the server to watch content folders automatically for new content without the need for rescans.

The first answer from WD support was: “We would recommend that you Turn On the Twonky Media feature. You’ll be able to do this by accessing the unit’s dashboard, clicking on Media and turning the DLNA server on.”. Well, thanks!
