M.D. Admissions. As a student in the West Virginia University School of Medicine (WVU SoM), you will have access to study and work in the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center, a large, modern medical complex that also includes the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health.
We have active inpatient bone marrow, nephrology, and medical oncology services. Research opportunities are available, and a well-defined residency research program has been developed. The School of Medicine has all of the traditional basic sciences and clinical departments.
