The Security Cameras or Cameras can be used to watch inmates and criminals from the Surveillance Room inside the Guard Area. Guards, inmates and criminals alike often ignore them as merely an aesthetic feature. However, it can be very useful for warning your colleagues that there are criminals who are entering the prison and are about to start a raid, as most criminals would think the cameras are useless.
There are cameras everywhere in the prison (except the guard area because that would be useless and silly). Cameras can sometimes be rendered useless by hugging the wall, although that is not a viable strategy most of the time.
The cameras are in the following locations:
•Nexus
•Cafeteria
•Cell Block
•Yard
•Hallway
Oftentimes there is too much action happening in the guard area to have time to view the cameras. This could be fixed by adding a door to the surveillance room, but would be rendered useless if a keycard was found by an inmate.
Note that they cannot be used on mobile unless you use a keyboard script or a USB/wireless keyboard.
