  5. In the 90’s I feel like there was more positive rap about social change and making a difference. Rap goes through phases, but it's always been eclectic. Yes, conscious rap peaked in the 90s, but there's lots of high-minded stuff getting put out there. I think a big issue with your view is you're not acknowledging just how much rap there is.
