The Hollywood Studio Zone -- also known as the "30-Mile Zone" or "TMZ" -- is the geographic area within a 30-mile radius of the intersection of Beverly and La Cienega Boulevards. The Zone's boundaries have expanded over the years. It was established in 1934 as a 6-mile radius from Rossmore Avenue and 5th Street.
