The glass floor has an area of 24 m 2 (258 sq ft) and can withstand a pressure of 4.1 megapascals (595 psi). The floor's thermal glass units are 64 mm (2.5 in) thick, consisting of a pane of 25 mm (1.0 in) laminated glass, 25 mm (1.0 in) airspace and a pane of 13 mm (0.5 in) laminated glass.

In 1997 the “wine cellar in the sky” opened at 360, a revolving restaurant at the top of the tower. Bags, purses, and knapsacks smaller than 53 x 23 x 38 cm are welcome inside the building, but we do not have lockers on site, and larger bags (including luggage) are not permitted. CN Tower staff will inspect your bags, so travelling lightly will also ensure a quicker entry.
