  2. Dialects are exclusively spoken languages. You don't write them. MSA is the written language. You'll never find dialect subs displayed on any Arabic channel. Netflix probably does it on some shows to attract Arabic learners. These kind of subs are completely useless to Arabs.

  4. If you only want the basic, then you can use "Colloquial Arabic (Levantine): The Complete Course for Beginners (Colloquial Series)" by Mohammad Al-Masri (it's based on South Levantine). Or in French, "Arabe libanais de poche" (Lebanese, there's also a German version).
