Three early Aurora goals got past the Dukes in about a three-and-a-half minute span from Andreas Mikrogiannakis, Tristen Aben and Simon Howard in the first half of the opening frame.

Madoc’s Connor Hunt squeaked a shot across the goal line with 10-and-a-half minutes remaining in the third period, and it counted largely as the game-winner in a 4-3 Dukes victory over the Aurora Tigers.
