If you are a full-time student beginning classes in September, you are automatically enrolled in the DSU Health & Dental Plan and the cost of the plan is included in your student fees.

DSU Health & Dental Plan opt-outs are done through Dal Online or the Student VIP portal during the Fall Term opt-out period. International students who have qualified for MSI can opt-out from their International Health Plan throughout the year at www.studentvip.ca/dsu .

There is no opt-out form available during the winter term. Withdraw from the student plan if you are covered by a comparable Health and Dental Plan from parents, spouse, work, government, or band and do not wish to Coordinate Benefits by completing the online form by the applicable term deadline.
