Opera periodically saves a backup of your session between restarts. If you are quick enough, you can retrieve the backup before it is overwritten. Don't open or close any more tabs in Opera until you do the following. On Windows, have a look at "%APPDATA%\Opera\Opera\sessions\".

You can also look at each file in a text editor and search for some of the URLs for your lost tabs to see if it'd even help to rename the files.

Sep 4, 2019 · I'm using Opera Version:62.0.3331.116. Long story short a very memory intensive program caused the computer to freeze indefinitely and I turned the computer off. Now I want Opera to restore the tabs from my previous session.
You'll need a JSON viewer/editor like JSONedit to view the content of the "Bookmarks" file (or just view it in a text editor) to see if the URLs are still there. Then, you'd have to copy them out, paste them into a new tab in Opera and re-bookmark them.
Sometimes you can get rid of the latest while Opera is closed to get Opera to use the older one that might still have your opened tabs. But, having a recent backup of the sessions folder is nicer as you can just replace the existing broken one with a copy of your backup.
