Aug 21, 2013 · On the Items tab, there's a box for Items. It's probably grayed out, with a blue icon next to it. That icon controls the Item Count -- when it's on, the count is calculated automatically from the spacing and the path length. When it's off, you can manaully specify the number of items, and if there's leftover space on the path it just stays empty.
