May 24, 2019 · Guys, I just switched my computer from windows to mac recently, and I attempted to install Infinity New Tab Extension(a new tab extension) on opera. Someone in an Opera forum said that new tab extensions work on mac but it doesn't. In fact, you can set up Infinity New Tab Extension in Chrome and then turn on cloud sync.

Jan 1, 2019 · Expand Advanced. Scroll down to "Start Page". Untick "Hide search box". Untick "Hide Speed Dial". Tick "Show news on start page". Click "new tab". The problem is for whatever dumb reason the news feed remains pushed all the way to the bottom of the page leaving a big empty gap.
But, Opera blocks that as Opera doesn't want to allow users to change the start page. However, in addition to the NightTab extension, you can install the New Tab Start Page extension. For Opera, it uses a redirect trick to override the newtab tab.

You can then right-click and "hide from toolbar" the Tabliss and New Tab Start Page Extension icons in the the address bar if you want. Use the + button on the tab bar or ctrl + t to open a new Tabliss page. You can click the start page icon on the left side of the address bar if you want to still get to Opera's start page.
