A general freeze on increasing university and college tuition fees will continue for 2024–2025, 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 academic years for most domestic Ontario students.
- Applying to universities in Ontario. If you're applying to be a full-time student at any of Ontario's universities, you'll apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC).
- Universities will let you know what's next. The OUAC will send your application information to the universities you applied to. In turn, those universities will email you about what you need to do next.
- Submit any required documents. Once you've applied, universities will need to see whether you'll be a good fit for the program you applied to. There are different requirements for different types of programs.
- Universities review applications. Universities will review your grades and any additional requirements for the programs you've applied to. The grades needed to be admitted to a program can change from year to year based on how many students apply and their qualifications.
Add your program choices. Request your transcripts. (If you’re a current Ontario high school student, most high schools automatically send your grades to us.) Pay the application processing fee and any transcript fees. Log back in to verify your transcript information, or to make changes or updates to your application.
