Quick reality check: Are you playing Java or Bedrock? Although I understand it's often an issue in Bedrock, I have literally never had a cat spawn in a Java iron farm. But if you're playing Bedrock, no design with only 5 villagers can produce iron for you because the mechanics are significantly different.
