   Adairs Nature trail starts into the woods behind the man-made pond at Adairs Lodge. After a short distance you will come to a bridge crossing a stream that eventually flows into Walton Lake.    Is Walton Lake a swimming lake?

   • Walton Lake had a great trail around the lake and there is so much wildlife to view. I wouldn't consider it a swimming lake but people were swimming in the murky waters. Great for teaching youngsters to kayak or for lazy sunning days on a raft. Definitely lots of people fishing although in 4 days there I didn't get a glimpse of any catch.

   What are the best sites to park at Walton Lake?

   • Sites 23, 24 and 25 have to park parallel and have limited room. Site 22 has ample room for two vehicles or a vehicle and a tow, etc. As does sites 20 and 21 (which are ideal since you park on the same side of the road as your site). Walton Lake had a great trail around the lake and there is so much wildlife to view.
