It doesn't take all day to go around but a lot of people do sunbathe on the grass on the outside or do the 3 castles walk. There is a gorgeous river running next to the castle as well where a lot of people were swimming/paddling and using paddle boards etc. If this is full, you can go a little further down near the pub.
