Apr 28, 2024 · The amount of putty you need is roughly the size of your palm. Mold the putty into a thin 5–6 in (13–15 cm) length by rubbing it together. Wrap the putty around the bottom lip of the sink flange and press it firmly around the edges. The plumber’s putty will hold in place while you assemble the rest of your sink.

Sep 16, 2021 · Set the countertop in place and glue the brackets to the underside in several places next to the cabinet frame. There should be at least two in the back and on each side and one or two in the middle. Let the epoxy set for several hours and then drive screws through the brackets into the cabinet frame. Always wear goggles when driving screws.

- Secure Bathroom Vanity to Wall Studs. If you already have an existing vanity and are simply replacing the top, you can likely skip this part if the vanity is already in place.
- Apply Adhesive to Top of Vanity. Now…hear me out–there are many ways to do this and many opinions as well. This is not the only way, the only product, or the only method to use for this…it’s just one way 🙂
- Place Granite Countertop. We (“we” as in multiple people, because it was heavy!) carefully placed the granite countertop on the vanity and centered it was needed.
- Install Sinks on Countertop. NOTE: Some sinks will come with specific instructions for installation. FOLLOW MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS. . However, we were given ceramic sinks with our countertop and they didn’t come with instructions, so we were kind of on our own haha.
Step 3 Scribing the Countertop. Find the area along the wall with the biggest gap and use this depth as your pencil offset from the wall when scribing. Run your pencil along the wall and mark the countertop with the wall's contour.

Use a level to extend this mark across the installation area. Draw a second line 5 1/2 inches below the first to indicate the bottom of the brace.
