Feb 9, 2022 · Blaze near a spawner (Image via Minecraft) Blazes are one of the most dangerous mobs in Minecraft. They dwell in the perilous Nether fortress and can easily kill players with their lethal attacks.
Wall off the hallway so the wither skeletons can't attack you while you're harvesting blaze rods. Build a cage around a spawner so they don't fly away, leave a doorway to take cover if needed. Then get close and kill them quickly, if you have trouble getting close without taking hits use a shield. If you get low leave the cage and heal up.
Here's what I do. For experts, skip to #3. get a full set of at least iron armor and a iron sword (bow and arrows, optional). go to the nether and get at least two blaze rods (you might get hurt during this step). get magma cream from magma cubes if you don't have slime balls.

In Minecraft, you can find blazes in the Nether. If you haven't been to the Nether, you need to build a nether portal to take you to the Nether. When you walk through a nether portal, it will transport you between the Overworld and the Nether. This is what a nether portal looks like: Blazes are created from a blaze spawner in the Nether fortress.
