Fighting: Bring several shields. While the blazes are not attacking crit them out with an axe or a sword and while they're attacking hold your shield. Kill them quickly, as a huge gathering is very hard to deal with.
You could lower their health with suffocation and use thorns armor while holding a looting sword (if you don't want to use an autoclicker), but it'll probably take damage over time (maybe with mending + unbreaking it survives). You can also use tnt, but it would have to be placed by the player.

Dec 22, 2021 · The best way to fight blazes in Minecraft 1.18 version. Blazes can only spawn naturally in the Nether. They don't spawn in the overworld unless players are using spawn eggs or commands.
