Aug 18, 2023 · Duel Links differs from the traditional Yu-Gi-Oh! experience in a few ways. Firstly, the game only has 3 main monster zones and 3 spell and trap zones. 2 link zones were added to the game with the inclusion of link monsters bringing the total up to seven playable zones for each player.
1- Master Duel simulates the TCG/OCG formats and game's structure. So 5 field slots+ centre field, main phase 2, Master Rule 5, etc... Duel links on the other hand simulates speed duel's format. 2-Master Duel has like 99% of all cards that've been released in the TCG/OCG while Duel Links has much much limited card pool.
