Oct 25, 2019 · Overall, my results indicate that the influence of civil society on the negotiations was moderate. I found only limited evidence of influence for issue-framing and position-shifting. However, they did contribute to prevent some issues from being dropped from the negotiations and shape procedures for future civil society engagement.
