it'll usually say it on the site you download it from. or if the last mod update was before the game update, wait a few days before downloading then check back to see if it's been updated.

1) First thing you want to do is to check the status of the mods/CCs and see if the mods/CCs that you use are updated or are cleared for use by their creators. Note that this list does not include NSFW mods so you will have to manually check their individual websites for updates.

Set up a custom pack profile on the Twitch launcher, add your mods. Updates will automatically show up (ish, there can be a bit of a delay). As needed copy updated mods from Twitch to your MultiMC instance, deleting the old versions. A bit more manual, mind, but works.
