For example, poverty can have wide-ranging effects on a child's long-term development , from a greater risk of mental health issues to poorer cognitive skills.
Early childhood education equips students with the self-assurance required to navigate the more formal and demanding environment of schooling. Such holistic development ensures children are ready – academically, emotionally, and socially – to transition to the next stage of life.
