The logo, known as Majestic Mountain, has evolved significantly over the years, but it has always featured a high-reaching pyramidal mountain peak.
Today, the mountain in the Paramount logo symbolizes not only the strength and endurance of the brand but also, its amazing history in the film landscape. Similarly, the stars in the design are representative of the company’s heritage, but they also depict excellence and exploration.

During this period in 1914, Paramount's logo (designed by William Wadsworth Hodkinson) consisted of a drawing of a mountain peak placed inside a circular field of 29 stars with the company name in a script font, a design which has since been passed onto all of the company's subsequent logo designs.

Jan 24, 2018 · This happened with Paramount in 1986 thanks to artist Dario Campanile. The company commissioned a painting (in 1986) of the majestic mountain for their 75th anniversary in 1987. It became the Paramount Pictures logo shortly after.
