It took him about 15 minutes going slow and explaining it. Once you've escaped a few times you can probably do it in about 5 minutes. This makes all of the other prison gameplay completely pointless. Why would anyone serve their time if it takes 5 minutes to just walk out? Unless there are people continuously camping the exit.
