Day 2 Universal Itinerary. Morning. Arrive at Universal Studios Hollywood for park opening. Start your day with popular attractions in The Upper Lot with typically long wait times, such as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (we went twice back to back on Day 2), Flight of the Hippograph, and The Simpsons Ride.
This guide is really helpful for deciding whether or not to purchase it. Plan to arrive at the Universal Studios Hollywood parking structure about 30-40 minutes before opening time. You’ll need to wait in line to pay, park and then walk through CityWalk. That process took us 25 minutes on an extremely quiet day.
Then head to the lower lot for Jurassic, Mummy, and Transformers rides, and then you can do the Harry Potter rides after. You can probably knock all of these out within 2 hours of opening honestly. And it's not even noon yet. Then you can do the Studio Tour before noon and after that feel free to do whatever you like.
Nov 14, 2023 · If you really want to splurge on your Universal Studios Hollywood one day itinerary, valet parking is also available for $25 for the first 2 hours and $50 after 2 hours. You can also get parking validation from City Walk’s full service restaurants to reduce the cost of valet parking. With validation, the first 2 1/2 hours will only be $10.
