Over 50 mod-hub mods still need to update, left PC on Tuesday night for 9+ hours, only finished about 24 mods. All mods from ModHub (both in game and website) downloading at a max of 60KB/s. For an 894MB file, that's going to take 17+ hours, IF it's doesn't fail. 2.
Mods that are run by just one person tend to take a bit more time. Because this is such a big update, we may be seeing mods taking more time than usual to get fixed. My recommendation is to play in offline mode and wait for the mods you do have to be updated before you download the game update. That way you can continue to play as is.

So my question is, how long does it usually take for mods to update for a new Minecraft version? Obviously it depends on the mod author, but on average how long does it usually take? How much work is involved? If I'd be waiting until mid-March or later I'll just stick with 1.4.7, but if the wait shouldn't be too long I'll go ahead and wait.

Jan 24, 2022 · There is a dedicated tab in the modhub menu in the game. If the mod is downloaded from a third party website you have to update the mod manually. #1.
