Even discounting our most recent time hosting the contest, the UK has already hosted the final more times than any other country.
On 25 July 2022, it was confirmed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the BBC that the UK would host the 2023 contest on behalf of the previous year's winning country Ukraine, and Liverpool was later announced as the host city on 7 October.
