The Canada Student Financial Assistance Program offers grants and loans to full-time and part-time students to help pay for their post-secondary education. Apply with 1 application, through your province or territory of residence. You don't need to pay back grants. You do need to pay back loans after finishing school.
How much you could receive. Until the end of the 2024 to 2025 school year, you could receive up to $4,200 per year or up to $525 per month of study. You can get this grant for each year of your undergraduate studies as long as you are still in school full-time. The school year runs from August 1 to July 31.
