If you are currently, or used to be, an Ontario child in extended society care, you can apply to be reimbursed for the money you spent applying to get into college and/or university and other OSAPapproved postsecondary programs. Your age, income or adoption status does not matter to qualify for reimbursement.
You can apply for the program if: 1. you are a current or former Ontario child in extended society care (formerly an Ontario Crown ward). 2. you haven’t already been granted a postsecondary degree, diploma or certificate from any jurisdiction 3. you have applied to an OSAPapproved program of study 4. you are applying for reimbursement of 2023–2024,...

May 29, 2024 · The average application fee at a four-year public college or university was $48. The average college application fee at private four-year schools was $54-$57. The average application fee at two-year colleges was less expensive, ranging from $39-$52. At face value, the application fee for just one college might not seem too daunting to pay.
The domestic application fee for programs starting between August 2025 and July 2026 will be updated from $125 to $150. The updated fee will take effect with the launch of the 2025-2026 application cycle on September 28, 2024. The application fee will remain the same ($125) for applications to programs starting between August 2024 and July 2025.
