OEM filter is made by Wix or MANN, so just get a Wix or MANN filter for $5 on Rockauto. Pennzoil Euro L 5W40 goes on sale often with MIR at $20 bucks.
Oct 10, 2020 · Considering I dont drive that much (15k), I only do an oil change about once a year. My F150 used 6L of oil (about $30 on sale for mobil 1 full synthetic) and then about $40 for the dealer to change the oil and filter. So about $80 yearly taxes in. My Corolla Hybrid will use much less oil so will cost a little less.

I just did the oil change yesterday. booking online is much better because they have a dedicated lane only for online bookings which is not accessible in store. The guy at counter recommended that you select nitrogen conversion and then add oil change. Worked for me.
Jul 26, 2023 · Doing tires is practically universal across all makes and models. With oil changes you need to stock certain oils, filters, gaskets, etc. And some makes you need to remove skid pan, drain plug is one time use, reset maintenance minder, etc. Unless an oil change is $120 a business isn't making money from it.
Jul 10, 2009 · Oil change was 47$ I think but at least I know I have brand new oil in the car for the trip. At the end of the day, my time was worth more than saving on the oil change. 20 minutes and it was all done.
Oct 26, 2003 · Depends on the type of full synthetic oil as there are many types and what it cost for parts. Example my CTS recommends only MOBILE 1 (written on the oil cap) after taxes at the dealer it runs about $130 for the so called dealer labelled "performance oil change".
Nov 19, 2010 · It cost $13 per tire to get changed. and per $12 for balancing. I paid $112 in total. My friend said I paid too much. I don't know much about cars and costs of services. Unless the tires somehow got unbalanced cause you lost the balancing weights, shouldn't have needed balancing.

Oct 1, 2024 · Oil breaks down after time as well. 1 Year is too long an interval and if your oil change warning light came on, you are overdue. Full synthetic oil w/filter is around $80 to $100 almost anywhere. No need to go to the dealer, independent shop down the road would probably do it for around that.
